Think about some weird/fun device (not too hard, or maybe you just like suffering?) and sketch it!

Make a schematic!
Use KiCad to make a schematic of your design! Pick out nice smd parts and make sure to check the datasheets for the parts you use!

Wire it!
Use KiCad to make a PCB layout of your design! Make sure to add a fun silkscreen and make it cute :3c

Make it irl!
Get a hotplate/solder paste/everything you need + components and assemble your design! (and solder it better than this :-:)

Can I really get this for free?
Yes! This is completely free for all teens aged 18 or under.
Do I need experience?
Nope! Beginners are totally welcome. We'll organize calls to help you out and we will have guides!
How much time do I need to spend on this?
We expect participants to spend around 8-12 hours on their project! All of your time needs to be recorded with lapse. It's fine if you go faster but your project needs to be unique and polished!
Can I make multiple projects?
Yes! You can & are encouraged to make multiple projects! Try to push yourself a little further everytime!
